Committees
“Neighbors helping out their neighborhood”
Have you thought about getting involved with your fellow neighbors and making a
difference in the area in which we call “home”? Not only will you be helping
out, you may even meet some new friends. In a neighborhood of 538 homes, there
is always plenty to do and that is where we can use you!
No special skills or talents are necessary, just the willingness to assist
others and show your pride in our neighborhood. Help as much or as little as you
can, any help is appreciated!
Some of the committees you can get involved with are:
Work Committee: They do odd jobs around the neighborhood such as
painting and minor repairs.
Garden Committee: This is the group of people who help in the
beautification of our neighborhood. This group plants, weeds and assists in the
overall care of the many flower beds. Jerry Kennedy would love to have your
green or not so green thumb.
Special Events Committee: Do you like to have fun and create fun
and exciting times? Well this group is for you. Plan , organize, and decorate
for neighborhood parties, garage sales, and holiday events.
Crime Watch Committee: The
Kensington Farms Neighborhood Watch Program was started with the goal of
developing community support to help one another prevent crimes in our
neighborhood.
