Is the
Kensington Farms HOA responsible for snow removal?
No. All streets in the Kensington Farms neighborhood are public streets
maintained by the City of Lawrence Street Department.

Where can I get a New Mail Box?
Contact Address Art to order your replacement. Just give Address Art a call and
let them know you live in Kensington Farms, this way you make sure that your new
mailbox follows the Kensington Farms guidelines. All mailboxes must have your
address on both sides for visibility for emergencies, uniform lettering, etc.
They will even install your new mailbox for a nominal fee. You can contact them

There are 538 homes in the Kensington Farms association.

When is the trash
picked up in Kensington Farms?
Trash is picked up every Tuesday (door to door service). All refuse is
placed at curb line by 6:00 a.m. on the day of service.
Limit of refuse: Each resident is allowed six (6) bags or containers of refuse.
Yard waste: The City picks up leaves and yard waste in paper yard waste
bags from May 1st to the end of November. These are taken to a compost facility.
Heavy pickup: The first pickup of each month residents are allowed to put
out two (2) heavy items. This could be appliances or furniture. We do not pickup
any type of building materials or construction or demolition debris. More Info

Do we have community parties?
Currently the only recurring community event Kensington Farms hosts is the
annual National Night Out for the national association of neighborhood watch
organizations. This event is held at the neighborhood pool every summer,
typically the first Tuesday in August. The event is strongly attended by
representatives of Lawrence fire fighters, paramedics, and public safety
officers. Many Lawrence government officials, such as the Mayor and Deputy
Mayor, typically attend as well. If you have an idea for another kind of
community event, please feel free to contact a board member with your
suggestion.
We would love to have you on our Special Events committee. If you would like to
be a part of or even lead our Special Events committee, please contact a
board member with your name.

report the Entrance letters are missing?
If you witness letters being removed, please call 911 and report this. If you
are not comfortable in doing so, please call your board representative and they
will be happy to make the call to LPD. If you notice letters missing, contact

Please try to initiate a friendly dialogue with your neighbor that you have
these issues with and attempt to resolve them in a peaceful adult manner. If

Yes we hold two per year one in spring and one in the fall, watch the front page
for updates.
