The Kensington Farms Community Pool opens on Saturday, May 23 –
this Memorial Day Weekend! With the new Pool season comes a new
change – Electronic Keys and an Electronic Gate! We are replacing
the existing physical key and lock entry at the Pool with a modern,
updated electronic system. Below are some questions and answers
about the new system, and about how everyone will get the new
electronic keys. We hope you like this “upgrade” at our Community
Pool!
How does the electronic key system work?
Each home in Kensington Farms will be assigned one electronic key.
You take the electronic key to the pool, wave it in front of the
electronic lock on the new gate – and it opens! Proceed to swim!
Where and when can I get my electronic key?
To exchange your old key for a new electronic key, come to the Pool
area this on Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-24) between 10 am to 2 pm,
or the same hours on Saturday of the following weekend (May 30).
Please note that you MUST have your old pool key to
get a new electronic key.
If you cannot get to the pool at these times, please contact Matt
McQuiston at Sentry Management at 251.9393 ext 203 to make
arrangements.
Can I get a new electronic key if I do not currently have
an old pool key?
Yes – but you must pay for it.
Normally, the fee for a replacement key is $25. However, during
Memorial Day Weekend only (May 23 to 24), you can purchase a key for
a discounted price of $10. After pool closing on May 24, the new key
purchase price will return to $25.
Will my new electronic key work?
Yes – if you have paid your annual HOA dues. If dues are not paid
for your lot number, your electronic key will not work and you will
not be able to open the pool gate. This is a continuation of the
current policy regarding pool access and payment of dues, dudes.
Things to Remember:
• If you lose your electronic key, you can get a replacement for $25
by contacting Matt McQuiston at Sentry Management at 251.9393 ext
203.
• If you sell your house, please give your electronic key to the new
homeowner. Save ‘em 25 bucks!
