2006 Pool Season Review:

2006 was another warm, sunny summer at the pool! Thanks to Indianapolis Pool Management (IPM), our new pool service contractor, and Chris, the Board’s “Pool Boy.” This year, the Pool saw lots of sun and sunscreen, great attendance and some new chairs! Our investment in the pool will continue, as we look to increase the value of your neighborhood assets!

2005 Pool Season in review:

Another warm, sunny summer was enjoyed by many people by relaxing and enjoying our Kensington Farms pool.

On behalf of the staff of the Kensington Farms Master Board of Directors, thanks for another great season of fun! We certainly appreciated the efforts of Justin, Danielle, and the rest of the lifeguards for their hard work and dedication to keeping our families safe this pool season.

Please note: With the pool season now over, if anyone is seen inside the pool fence after hours please call the Lawrence Police immediately.

2004 Pool Season in review:

Another warm, sunny summer has come and gone in Indiana. For Kensington Farms residents in good standing, that means another year of fun neighborhood pool enjoyment is behind us. The summer of 2004 will be remembered by many as one of the best years at the Kensington Farms Pool.

With well-liked veteran lifeguards Justin and Lyndsay at the helm, many of our youngsters learned how to swim and had lots of sunny days to practice their new skill. Tables and umbrellas, many of them original, were used often. Non-residents attempting to "invade" the pool this year were nearly non-existent (thanks to Gate Monitors). Complaints, both called-in to the management company/board members, and those received directly to the guards, were few and far between. And for the first time ever, most of the basic swimmer-safety rules were observed consistently by our pool patrons and their children.

The new solar cover, although down for repairs more than half the season, was helpful in retaining water heat towards the end of the season. Next year, it will be used from Opening Day through Labor Day (the cover arrived late from the manufacturer this year, so the first few weeks at the pool were chilly!), with NO days of "down for repair" status (we hope!).
